I have five days until the Scottsbluff Monument Half-Marathon. I took Saturday off as a rest day after the 12 mile Friday run. Yesterday was drizzly and rainy, so I did a 5 mile treadmill run with an average pace of 8:55. I felt great. This week I'm focused on hydration, making smart beverage and food choices, and keeping my eye on the prize.
This is what I know.
I know that I'm going to be ready for Saturday.
I know that I'm going to run strong.
I know that I'm going to run a faster time than last year.
I know that!!!
Now, it's time to get going, get motivated, get out my list of my get-to-do-today and celebrate today!
