This year I'm focusing on improving my running and overall health by taking the 2017 Mile Challenge and seeing where the journey takes me. I'm also revisiting the Monthly Challenge started by Nephew Jason in 2009.

I DID IT!!!! I met my goal of 50 miles in 5 days!!!! I knew I could, and so I did. I'm going to take today as a rest day. Rest days are necessary - yes indeed they are. These days allow your muscles to rejuvinate, rebuild, and rejoice in the fact that they can take the day off.
